Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) in military aviation has been an integral part of the force structure. ComAvia has worked on the Mi 17 helicopters' maintenance, repair, and overhaul requirements.

Our MRO services have a dedicated team of personnel who are experienced in handling maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft/helicopter components. Our experience on working with IAF and Defence PSUs has helped us to develop effective contract management to reduce turnaround time as well as cost of aircraft/helicopter components maintenance.

The Dismantling, Cleaning, Painting, Preservation and Packaging which are parts of ROH task is being carried out on components as per the overhaul technology/work package available with 3BRD, AF Chandigarh.

Mi17 part tasking

The Scope of Work involved in Modification works of MLH upgrade is aimed to facilitate Mi-17 and Mi-17 1V heptr with State of the Art / Advance Electronic Warfare (EW) and Surveillance Equipments. The details of system to be installed as part of modification and broad Scope of Work involved for undertaking modification are enumerated below. The up gradation/ modification comprises of fitment of 14 systems on Mi-17 and MI-17 IV each. Further there are about 41 mechanical & 67 electrical installations for MI-17 helicopters and 46 mechanical & 73 electrical installations for MI-17 IV helicopters.
